Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 8, 2007, and a suspension of the House Rules for permission to meet during reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Woolley, at 9:51 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.
Representative Woolley moved to place the following measures:

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Absent: Representatives Chavez; Dukes; Elkins; Hamilton; Turner (5).
Representative Woolley moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time: HB939, HB1182, HB1232, HB1953, HB2279, HB3857, SB826.
The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
