Pursuant to an announcement from the House floor on March 22, 2007, and permission granted to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Corrections met in a work session and was called to order by the chair, Representative Madden, at 9:59 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Madden; McReynolds; Dunnam; Jones, Delwin (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Hochberg; Haggerty; Oliveira (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Chairman Madden provided opening comments.

Committee members discussed legislation relating to the Texas Youth Commission.

Committee members discussed legislation relating to the Texas Youth Commission.

 

At 3:21 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
