Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2007, and permission granted to allow the committee to meet while the house was in session during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Wayne, at 6:22 p.m.
