Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 12, 2007, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Berman, at 12:11 p.m.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 3143 as pending business.
The chair moved that HB 3143, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Howard, Charlie (1).

The chair laid out HB 1031 as pending business.
The chair offered a complete committee substitute.
The substitute was adopted without objection.
The chair moved that HB 1031, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

At 12:15 p.m., on the motion of Representative Anchia and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
