Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2007, the House Committee on Financial Institutions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 12:06 p.m.

Representative Chavez offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
Representative Solomons offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
The chair directed the staff to incorporate the amendments into a committee substitute.
Representative Anderson moved that HB 2679, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays: None (0).
