Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and being granted permission to meet while the House was in session on May 8, 2007, the House Committee on Financial Institutions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 4:35 p.m.

The chair laid out SB 1520.

 

Representative Orr moved that SB 1520, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair laid out SB 1332.

 

The chair recognized Representative Chavez to explain the measure.
