Pursuant to an announcement from the House Floor on May 15, 2007 and after a suspension of the rules on the House Floor by Representative Puente to allow all committees and subcommittees to meet during the reading and referral of bills on May 15, 2007, the House Committee on Government Reform met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Callegari, at 5:12 p.m.
