Pursuant to a notice posted on December 14, 2007, the House Committee on Higher & Public Education Finance, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Branch, at 1:23 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Branch; Hochberg; Guillen; Kolkhorst; Otto (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Dutton; Eissler; Giddings; Morrison (4).

 

A quorum was present.
