Pursuant to a notice posted on February 2, 2007, the House Committee on Defense Affairs & State-Federal Relations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Corte, Frank, at 8:19 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Corte, Frank; Escobar; Garcia; Merritt; Raymond (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Noriega, Rick; Herrero; Hodge; Moreno, Paul (4).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:55 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until final adjournment of the House on February 7, 2007.

 

The committee reconvened at 11:55 a.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Corte, Frank. The roll was answered as follows:
