Pursuant to a notice posted on January 31, 2008, the House Committee on Defense Affairs & State-Federal Relations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Escobar at 9:49 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Escobar; Noriega, Rick; Merritt (3).

 

Absent:              Representatives Corte, Frank; Garcia; Herrero; Hodge; Moreno, Paul; Raymond (6).

At 1:41 p.m., on the motion of Representative Escobar and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
