Pursuant to a notice posted on August 29, 2008, the House Committee on Defense Affairs & State-Federal Relations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Corte, Frank, at 1:00 p.m.

 

The following members were present: Representative Corte, Frank and Representative Hodge.

 

Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate

Committee on Veteran Affairs & Military Installations was held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008,

at the Municipal Auditorium in San Antonio and was called to order by the chair, Senator Leticia Van de Putte, at 1:00 p.m. 

 

The following members were present:  Senator Van de Putte and Senator Shapleigh.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 5:55 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
