Pursuant to a notice posted on December 8, 2008, the House Committee on Hurricane Ike Devastation, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, at 10:00 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Turner; Eiland; Hamilton; Harless; Olivo; Riddle; Smith, Wayne; Taylor (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives Davis, John; Allen, Alma; Bonnen; Crabb; Deshotel; Dutton; Schwartz, A. R. "Babe" (7).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 3:30 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
