Pursuant to a notice posted on March 7, 2007, a revised notice posted on March 8, 2007, and in accordance with the motion on the house floor and subsequent approval to allow the committee to meet during reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Insurance met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 3:57 p.m.
