Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 28, 2007, the House Committee on Insurance met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 12:14 p.m.

The chair laid out HB1590 as pending business.

 

Representative Hancock moved that HB1590, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Smithee; Smith, Todd; Eiland; Hancock; Martinez, "Mando"; Thompson; Vo (7).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

The chair recognized Representative Hancock to explain the measure.

 

Representative Eiland offered a complete committee substitute.
