Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2007, the House Committee on Insurance met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 6:03 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Eiland; Martinez, "Mando"; Thompson; Vo (4).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB1269.

 

Representative Hancock moved that HB1269, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Smithee; Smith, Todd; Taylor; Hancock; Woolley (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Eiland; Martinez, "Mando"; Thompson; Vo  (4).

 

The chair directed that the April 17, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Insurance be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 6:04 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
