Pursuant to a notice posted on March 21, 2007 for a public hearing and pursuant to the permission granted for the committee to meet while the house is in session during bill referral, the House Committee on Judiciary met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hartnett, at 5:20 p.m.
