Pursuant to a notice posted on September 16, 2008, the House Committee on Judiciary met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hartnett, at 9:53 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hartnett; Homer; Gonzales; Goolsby; Hughes (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Hopson; Alonzo; Cook, Robby; Krusee (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 1:22 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
