Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2007 and pursuant to permission granted on the house floor on May 4, 2007 to allow the committee to meet while the house is in session during reading and referral of bills , the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Geren at 1:06 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Geren; Isett, Carl; Hamilton; Jones, Delwin; Quintanilla (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Flores; Goolsby; Miles; Thompson (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 465

 

The chair laid out HB 465.

 

Representative Jones, Delwin offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Isett, Carl moved that HB 465, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Geren; Isett, Carl; Hamilton; Jones, Delwin; Quintanilla (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Flores; Goolsby; Miles; Thompson  (4).

 

At 1:07 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
