Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 18, 2007, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Flores, at 1:06 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Flores; Geren; Hamilton; Jones, Delwin; Quintanilla; Thompson (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Isett, Carl; Goolsby; Miles (3).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1475 and explained.

 

Representative Geren moved that SB 1475, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Flores; Geren; Hamilton; Jones, Delwin; Quintanilla (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     Representative Thompson  (1).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Isett, Carl; Goolsby; Miles  (3).

 

At 1:08 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
