Pursuant to a notice posted on February 7, 2007, the House Committee on Local Government Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hill, at 3:50 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hill; Creighton; Elkins; Howard, Charlie; Puente; Quintanilla; Villarreal (7).

 

Absent:              None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The committee met to hear testimony on the appraisal process in Texas.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 5:35 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
