Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 2008, and revised on March 25, 2008, the House Committee on Local Government Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hill, at 10:01 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hill; Creighton; Elkins; Quintanilla; Villarreal (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Howard, Charlie; (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair laid out interim charge #4.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 3:23 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
