Pursuant to a notice posted on June 5, 2008, the House Committee on Property Tax Relief and Appraisal Reform, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Otto, at 1:18 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Otto; Elkins; Flores; Gattis; Heflin; Quintanilla; Taylor (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Paxton; Darby; Flynn; King, Phil; King, Tracy O.; McClendon (6).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representatives Ryan Guillen, Veronica Gonzales, and Aaron Pena were also present.

 

Public testimony was taken.

 

Invited testimony was taken.

 

At 6:35 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
