Pursuant to a notice posted on July 3, 2008, the House Select Committee on Property Tax Relief and Appraisal Reform met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Otto, at 11:35 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Otto; Paxton; Darby; Elkins; Flynn; Heflin; King, Phil; McClendon (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives Flores; Gattis; King, Tracy O.; Quintanilla; Taylor (5).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative Taylor now present

At 5:44 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
