Pursuant to a notice posted on August 4, 2008, the House Committee on Property Tax Relief and Appraisal Reform, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Otto, at 1:02 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Otto; Paxton; Darby; Gattis; Heflin; King, Phil; Quintanilla (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Elkins; Flores; Flynn; King, Tracy O.; McClendon; Taylor (6).

 

A quorum was present.

At 5:43 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
