Pursuant to a notice posted on August 11, 2008, the House Select Committee on Property Tax Relief and Appraisal Reform met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Otto, at 11:15 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Otto; Darby; Elkins; Flores; Flynn; Gattis; Heflin; King, Tracy O. (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives Paxton; King, Phil; McClendon; Quintanilla; Taylor (5).

 

A quorum was present.
