Pursuant to a notice posted on December 2, 2008, the House Committee on Property Tax Relief and Appraisal Reform, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Otto, at 10:15 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Otto; Darby; Elkins; Flynn; Gattis; Heflin; King, Tracy O.; McClendon (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives Paxton; Flores; King, Phil; Quintanilla; Taylor (5).

 

A quorum was present.

 

(Representative Flores now present.)

 

Rep. Otto presented the draft committee report.  Discussion ensued.

 

At 10:43 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
