Pursuant to a notice posted on October 15, 2008, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Eissler, at 10:10 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Eissler; Hochberg; Macias; Patrick (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Zedler; Branch; Dutton; Olivo (4).

 

A quorum was present.
