Pursuant to a notice posted on August 13, 2008, the House Committee on Urban Affairs, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Bailey, at 1:55 p.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Bailey; Menendez; Cohen; Latham (4).

 

Absent:            Representatives Murphy; Mallory Caraway; Martinez Fischer (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on August 13, 2008, the House Committee on Law Enforcement met in a public hearing, and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Latham at 1:55 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Latham; Allen, Alma; Frost; Vo (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Driver; Ortiz, Jr.; West, George "Buddy" (3).

 

A quorum was present.
