Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 18, 2007, and a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on April 18, 2007, to consider HB 2684, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Swinford, at 3:40 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

The chair laid out HB 2684.

 

Representative Flynn offered an amendment to the measure.

 

The amendment was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Flynn moved that HB 2684, as amended, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion failed to receive an affirmative vote in committee by the following record vote:
