Pursuant to a notice posted on July 9, 2008, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Swinford, at 10:07 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Swinford; Paxton; Van Arsdale; Christian; Flynn (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Cook, Byron; Farrar; Parker; Veasey (4).

 

A quorum was present.

At 1:20 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
