Pursuant to a notice posted on February 8, 2007, the House Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 8:06 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Deshotel; Haggerty; Harless; Hill (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Harper-Brown; Macias; Murphy (3).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:44 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 10:30 a.m., or upon final adjournment or recess of the House of Representatives, or, if suspension of the rules permits, during reading and referral of bills, February 13, 2007.

 

The committee reconvened at 11:53 a.m. after a suspension of the rules on the House floor by Representative Krusee to allow the committee to meet during the reading and referral of bills.  The meeting was called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Krusee; Harper-Brown; Haggerty; Harless; Hill; Macias; Murphy (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Phillips; Deshotel (2).

 

A quorum was present.
