Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 7, 2007, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 12:16 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Harper-Brown; Haggerty; Harless; Hill; Macias; Murphy (8).

 

Absent:              Representative Deshotel (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 2692

 

The chair laid out HB 2692 as pending business.

 

Representative Krusee offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Krusee moved that HB 2692, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Harper-Brown; Haggerty; Harless; Hill; Macias; Murphy (8).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representative Deshotel  (1).

 

At 12:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
