Pursuant to a notice posted on January 18, 2008, the House Committee on Transportation, Subcommittee on Planning Authorities, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hill, at 10:07 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Hill; Harless; Macias (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The subcommittee's charge:  Examine the role of metropolitan planning authorities in state law, as well as the creation of rural planning authorities to address the planning needs outside of metropolitan planning organizations but within council of government boundaries.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 12:49 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
