Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on February 15, 2007, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Keffer, Jim, at 11:48 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Keffer, Jim; Otto; Bonnen; Pena; Pitts (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Ritter; Davis, Yvonne; Flores; Paxton (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

SJR 13

 

The chair laid out SJR 13, the companion to HJR 1.

 

Representative Bonnen moved that SJR 13, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Keffer, Jim; Otto; Bonnen; Pena; Pitts (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Ritter; Davis, Yvonne; Flores; Paxton  (4).

 

At 11:52 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
