Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Friday, April 27, 2007, in the Betty King Committee Room.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:48 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

The chair laid out the recommended list for the May 1, 2007, Local and Uncontested Calendar.  The following bills were removed from the recommended list: SB 114, SB 698, SB 1127, SB 1448, SB 1471, SB 1556, SB 1699, and HB 733.   Senator Uresti moved that the May 1, 2007, Local and Uncontested Calendar be certified; the motion passed with a record vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays and 1 absent.

 

There being no further business, at 9:56 a.m. Senator Brimer moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
