Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, May 14, 2007, in E1.714.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:35 a.m.  The following business was transacted: 

 

Senator Brimer laid out the recommend list for the May 17, 2007, Local and Uncontested Calendar.  HB 44 was removed.  Senator Whitmire moved that the bills on the recommended list for the May 17, 2007, Local and Uncontested Calendar be certified with the exception of the above bill.  The motion passed with a record vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, 4 absent.

 

 

There being no further business, at 10:37 a.m. Senator Brimer moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
