Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, May 21, 2007, in the E1.714

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

The chair laid out the Local and Uncontested Calendar for May 23, 2007.  The following bills were removed:  HB 160, HB 1522, HB 2093, HB 2498, HB 2990, HB 3200, HB 3443, HB 3594, HB 3747 & HB 4094.  Senator Uresti moved that the Local and Uncontested Calendar for May 23, 2007 be certified with the exception of the above listed bills.  The motion carried with a record vote of  7 ayes and 0 nays.

 

 

There being no further business, at 9:30 a.m. Senator Brimer moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
