Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Business & Commerce was held on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:09 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Senator Fraser made opening remarks regarding Charges #4 and #5.

 

Senator Fraser called the invited witnesses for Charge #4.
