Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Finance was held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.  The following business was transacted:

At 10:47 a.m. Senator Ogden moved that the Committee stand recessed until 15 minutes after adjournment of the Senate; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

Senator Zaffirini reconvened the Committee at 12:04 p.m.

Senator Zaffirini moved that SB 1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

Senator Ogden resumed the chair. 

 

Senator Ogden announced that the Article VIII agencies that did not provide testimony would be moved to the next day's hearing agenda.  Without objection, it was so ordered.

 

 

 

There being no further business, at 1:59 p.m. Senator Ogden moved that the Committee stand recessed until 8:00 a.m., January 31, 2007.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
