A joint hearing of the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate State Affairs Committee was held. Chairmen Ogden and Duncan shared presiding duties.
Senator Ogden called the Finance Committee to order at 10:00 a.m. Senator Duncan called the State Affairs Committee to order at 10:00 a.m.
The roll was called for the Finance Committee, and a quorum was established.

Senator Ogden laid out proposed Senate Finance Committee Interim Rules. Senator Shapiro moved adoption of the rules as presented. There being no objection, the rules were adopted by unanimous consent.
The Committee heard invited and public testimony regarding the State Trust Funds Joint Interim Charge. Witnesses testifying and registering on the subject are shown on the attached list.
There being no further business, at 3:36 p.m. Senator Ogden moved that the Finance Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
