The Senate Committees on Government Organization and Veteran Affairs and Military Installations Committee met in a joint hearing to hear testimony on SB 917.

 

Senator Ellis called the Senate Committee on Government Organization to order at 1:16 p.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

Senator Van de Putte called the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs and Military Installations to order at 1:19 p.m. the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out SB 917 and recognized the author, Senator Shapleigh, to explain the bill.

 

At 1:30 p.m. Senator Hegar assumed the chair.

 

Witnesses testifying and/or registering on the bill are shown on the attached list. 

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. 

Senator Hegar moved that SB 917 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered. 

 

There being no further business, at 3:01 p.m. Senator Hegar moved that the Senate Committee on Government Organization stand recessed subject to the call of the chair; without objection, it was so ordered.
