Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rules 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Government Organization was held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, in the Senator Ellis' desk

The chair called the meeting to order at 6:24 p.m.  The following business was transacted: 

 

The chair laid out HCR 151 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Patrick, to explain the bill.  The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. 

Senator Ellis moved that HCR 151 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered. 

 

The chair laid out HCR 186 and recognized Senator Patrick, in the absence of the Senate sponsor, to explain the bill.  The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.  Senator Ellis moved that HCR 186 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered. 

 

The chair laid out HCR 201 and recognized Senator Patrick, in the absence of the Senate sponsor, to explain the bill.  The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.  Senator Ellis moved that HCR 201 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered. 

 

There being no further business, at 6:26 p.m. Senator Ellis moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
