Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Criminal Justice was held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.010, at Austin, Texas.

On May 17, 2007, Senator Whitmire suspended the posting rules, Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, on the Senate Floor to take up and consider the following bills: HB 430, HB 649, HB 1110, HB 1111, HB 1113, HB 1121, HB 1158, HB 1503, HB 1889, HB 2115, HB 2118, HB 2151, HB 2385, HB 2498, HB 2656, HB 2884, HB 3613, HB 3692, HB 3736, and HJR 6.
