Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Subcommittee on Base Realignment and Closure was held on Thursday, November 20, 2008, in the Texarkana, Texas

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.  The following business was transacted: 

 

The Chair made opening remarks and announced that the purpose of the hearing was to discuss the Subcommittee's interim charges. 

 

The Chair recognized Senator Eltife and Representative Frost for their participation with the Subcommittee. 

 

Persons who provided invited testimony on the interim charges are listed on the attached witness list.        

 

There being no further business, at 11:35 a.m., Senator Eltife moved that the committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair; without objection, it was so ordered.
