Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Legislative Study Committee on Private Participation in Toll Projects was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, in the Houston-Galveston Area Council Building.

The chair called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

The Committee received public and invited testimony regarding private participation in toll projects.

 

Witnesses are shown on the attached list.

 

There being no further business, at 2:45 p.m. Senator Nichols moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
