Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with HCR 70, 80th Legislature, a public hearing of the  Criminal Justice Legislative Oversight Committee was held on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The Chair, Representative Madden, called the meeting to order at 1:35 p.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

The Chair called the following witnesses to provide invited testimony on prison security.  Witnesses testifying on the issue are shown on the attached list.

 

There being no further business, at 3:05 p.m. Representative Madden moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
