Pursuant to posted notice, a public hearing of the Bexar Metropolitan Water District Oversight Committee was held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, in the San Antonio City Council Chamber.

Senator Carlos Uresti, Chair Representative Robert Puente Joe Aceves Don Durden Sergio "Chico" Rodriguez		None

The chair called the meeting to order at 1:36 p.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

The Chair made opening remarks and recognized other members of the committee for opening statements.

 

Witnesses providing invited and public testimony are shown on the attached list.

 

The committee stood at ease from 2:55 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.   

 

During testimony, Representative Puente assumed the chair.   

 

Senator Uresti resumed the chair. 

 

The Chair laid out proposed joint committee rules for consideration.  The rules were adopted by unanimous consent.

 

There being no further business, at 5:18 p.m. the Chair moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
