Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18 and pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule and an announcement from the House floor on March 13, 2007, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Operation & Management of the Texas Youth Commission was held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in the E1.030 at Austin, Texas.

Representative Madden called the meeting to order at 2:24 p.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

Senator Whitmire and Representative Madden shared presiding duties.

 

Persons providing invited testimony are shown on the attached list.

 

There being no further business, at 5:21 p.m. Representative Madden moved that the Committee be adjourned, subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
