Pursuant to HCR 70, a public hearing of the Joint Select Committee on Operation & Management of the Texas Youth Commission was held on Friday, February 22, 2008, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:22 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

Senator Whitmire and Representative Madden shared presiding duties.

 

Persons providing invited testimony are shown on the attached list. 

 

There being no further business, at 2:35 p.m. Representative Madden moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
