This public hearing is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm or upon recess or
adjournment of the morning hearing of the Select Committee on Higher and
Public Education Finance, whichever occurs later.
 
The subcommittee will hear invited testimony on the spreading or
"smoothing" of state payments to school districts throughout the year.
